Once you have decided the time is right for you to have a baby, allow yourself ‘a window of opportunity’ to ensure that the diet of both Mum and Dad is the best it can be to support a healthy baby.

The cycle of a woman’s egg in preparation for ovulation is around 90 days (three months) and it takes about the same time for the male sperm to be ready to swim and meet the egg. During this period the foods you choose to eat can affect the health & viability of the egg and the form, function and quality of the sperm.
